Why do gay guys talk the way they do?

Seriously? How come when a guy becomes gay, his voice changes? They all talk the same?
Do they have a school to learn to talk that way, or does it just happen? Weird!

Hi dude, awesome question! If gay men didn't talk or act the way they did, who would recognize them as gay? How would they find each other? By assimilating and becoming a stereotype is how other people notice: "OK, he's gay." It's all about attracting attention for a specific objective, be it love or sex or friends or WHATEVER. It's an objective associated with being gay. It's like a married person wearing a ring on his/her ring finger. Same thing. The behavior is a symbol exposing a characteristic of an individual. 4  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?
